Detailed Product Description

SiAlON bonded SiC bricks are produced using high quality silicon carbide, industrial silicon powder and alumina powder as starting materials, firing at about 1 500 by nitridation solid solution reaction. Compared with Si₃N₄ bonded SiC products, the SiAlON bonded SiC bricks are characterized by good alkali corrosion resistance, slag resistance and oxidation resistance. The bricks are mainly used in the lower part of stack, belly and bosh of BF. The bricks were awarded the The Third Prize of National Science & Technology Progress in 1998 and have been used successfully in BF of Anshan Steel and Zhangjiagang Steel, etc.
